Images of America Series - Homewood

Homewood is one of the newest books in Arcadia Publishing’s Images of America Series.  The 128-page book, written by Jim Wright, is filled with over 200 photographs, which chronicle the history of Homewood from its earliest years through the 1940’s.  The book uses images from the collections of the Homewood Historical Society, most of which have never before been published.  Chapters are devoted to Homewood’s rural roots, rail heritage, schools, churches, public services, businesses and recreation activities.
